Octo Models Limited, bought ryanbus.com from its founder John Ryan in 2005. The website had developed into a major force within the diecast model bus retailing market.

Under the stewardship of Octo’s two Directors: Alan Thompson and Nigel Park, the profile of the site has been raised further and we are now delighted to present you with a new fully integrated site carrying the Ryanbus name.

We offer new releases from all the major manufacturers of 1:76 and 1:24 scale model buses including Britbus, CMNL, Corgi Original Omnibus Company, Exclusive First Editions, Original Classics and Sunstar.

Due to our direct links with EFE and John Ayrey Ltd, the UK Distributor for Creative Master Northcord Limited and Britbus we also stock and can obtain back catalogue items from these manufacturers.

We have also produced our own White Metal Model Bus: A D-Class CIE Bodied Leyland Atlantean and look out for announcements of further projects in the news section of this site. As soon as we know anything – we’ll let you know!

In addition to our on-line presence Octo Models Limited are based on the High Street at The Model Shop, 179 Ferensway, Hull. The telephone number is 01482 329199 and we are available during normal trading hours to answer any questions you may have. Trading Hours for the shop are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
